The older DT 466 Timing Advance procedure is not that hard since it's a mechanical injection fuel system. The electronic age has not yet entered this DT 466's world yet. If you haven't seen or worked around this engine model, I have to give it a thumbs up for low cost and how easy they are to repair.
They are bullet proof and just a one in a million design that got shut out by the new emission standards of today. I'm not against the new environment age but it sure was nice having these jewels in our fleet.
